Yesterweek #15
I LOVE painting portraits. I don't know why, but it brings me such a peace to paint the human face.
So this past week I painted portraits again, and it was a nice week overall.

I'm trying to get back to my old routine of morning runs and walking. Though I missed a few days, it was relaxing to go back. The weather was just fine, and even though I prefer rainy days, the combination of sun with lower temperatures is pleasant.

Watching movies
This past week I finally managed to watch two movies that has been on my watchlist from a long, long time.
Inside Out and Kiki's Delivery Service.
Copying and pasting what I wrote over at Letterboxd:
Inside Out
Way funnier than I thought. It certainly delivers a soft and somewhat comic representation of the emotions, not as raw as I thought. Interesting approach on the emotions character designs, especially the textures, creating a stark contrast between the emotions world and the real world. Overall Inside Out was a nice surprise!
Kiki's Delivery Service
What a lovely movie! Everything is so well paced that brings you joy and peace just by watching it. :) This movie proofs that you don't need big character arcs nor big conflicts to create a worth-watching experience.
Animation Mentor
Animation Mentor week 10. Trying a sneaky-ish personality walk:
And also some improvements from last week. I don't like the end of result, but it is what it is.
Music stuck in my head
The ending solo of this music... so damn good!
Onto the next week!
