Yesterweek #04

It's been a while I don't post any updates here, my excuse is that I was traveling, not that I owe anything to anyone.

It's been a bit more difficult than I'd imagine to get back to my old routine, the weather is also different here, it's super hot, and I can't wait for lower temperatures.

This week I was trying to figure out what steps should I take next, I'm still am, actually. But at least I made some decisions, that I might regret, but I had to risk it.

One of them is that I'm going back to Animation Mentor! Last year I attended the Animation Basics mentorship, the first part of their Character Animation program and I failed to pass to the next one. It's really tough, but last year I was way more busier, so I believe this time around, with more experience and an emptier calendar, I will manage to pass to the next phase. I said that I might regret this one because I'm not a 100% sure I want to continue an animation path, in terms of career. Sometimes I think it would be so much better for me if I'd focus solely on a Vis Dev path... it's a risk I'm taking.

I'm excited about the Japanese classes that will start again this Monday. Earlier this year I attended NihongoDekita's JPN 102 crash course, and it was a fun experience. I managed to use a few things that I learned in the course while I was traveling through Japan, so now I'm taking the JPN 103 crash course!

Besides that, I'm slowly searching for a job... not an easy task that's for sure.

Paint of the week

Mt. Fuji!

I still need to write more about my trip to Japan, meanwhile I keep painting:

See ya!
