KOIAI and snow
A break for another show, and what a show it was!

After a few days in Hiroshima Prefecture, I came to Yokohama, where I was able to witness KOIAI (read koi-eye) live for the first time.
KOIAI is a band that has recently been gaining popularity. I particularly liked their last two EPs ("Deep Love" and "Come See Me" respectively), where their evolution as a band is remarkable compared to their first EP (Deep Indigo).
KOIAI was formed in 2022 by Li-sa-X (guitar), HAZUKI (guitar, yes, the same as NEMOPHILA) and Kotono (vocalist, ex-IRONBUNNY). Later Kanade (drummer) joined the group. Despite not having a fixed bass player, in the beginning Li-sa-X's brother was responsible for the bass, but more recently this work has been done by Wakazaemon.
In short, from Rock to Pop, from Rock to Metal, from Rock to a little Jazz, KOIAI manages to bring together different genres through guitar riffs that seem to be very difficult, but very beautiful to listen to. For example, the song below titled "A New Picture":
Anyway™, I came to Yokohama to witness KOIAI for the first time, live and in color. And what a fantastic show, not even the rain that caused some chaos at the entrance could steal the show's spotlight.
Not even the technical problems (cables, always cables) that HAZUKI had at the beginning hindered the show.
I don't even really know how to describe the show itself, so I'll just leave the setlist below for the record, in case anyone is curious.
