Halide Process Zero

Yesterday, the makers o Halide announced a new update with a new feature called Process Zero.

Basically it strips out all the photo processing Apple is doing behind the scenes, so you can shot photos more like a classic camera.

Now, I'm not a photographer, so I know basically zero about all the tricks and whatnot to take a good photo, but I do appreciate this feature.

Somehow I kinda prefer the rawness of photos taken with Process Zero enabled. It's refreshing in a way.

Here's a test from today's walk. First one was shot with Halide + Process Zero. Second one was shot with iPhone's default camera app.

Sure, the colors are less vibrant, but guess what, it was like that in real life.

Another test, same order:

Features like this one makes me want to take more photos!
