Frame por Frame - a short animated film
Frame por Frame - English Captions available
In Frame por Frame, Mr. Fahrenheit is standing in front of the cinema waiting for his girlfriend, Ginger. As he waits, he thinks about how happy she makes him and how he wishes he were a filmmaker, knowing all the techniques and having all the equipment, so he could record all his moments with her. When she arrives, he asks her to go back to the corner and walk towards him again, so he can film her with an “imaginary camera” and capture the moment in his memory.
Frame por Frame (or Frame by Frame in English) is a short animated film created by my friend Ana and myself. Frame por Frame is based on GO, a book by Nick Farewell.
We created this short film as part of our graduation final project. We started this project with at least 6 months of delay, so we basically had only 1 year to start and finish it. We managed to finish everything on time, by the end of November 2023.
Our goal was to create a style of animation similar to Entergalactic, where everything is animated without in-betweens (at least as far as we know).
This was our first experience creating a animated film, and it goes without saying that we learned a lot! It was a challenging and fun ride!
My key responsibilities were:
- Characters concept art.
- Characters and environments textures.
- Characters' RIG.
- 3D Animation.
- Color Script.
- Animatic.
- Lighting.
