About 30h or so sleeping until arriving in Japan
Back again in the land of the rising sun

Exactly 1 year and a few days ago I was in Japan. And here I am again, very jet lagged and almost falling asleep in the chair typing this blog post, in this rather curious country.
Saying that I liked Japan is as obvious as walking forward, but yes, I liked it here. That's why I decided to come back to explore a little more. In addition, of course, to putting into practice everything I learned in my Japanese classes.
I also came back to escape from the unhealthy summer that is hitting Brazil. Sometimes a thermal shock is good to calibrate the body's immunity, or not, who knows, I'm just guessing.

Damn, speaking of summer and heat, I don't know if it was for this reason, what a tiring and sleepy trip. I slept on the bus to the Curitiba airport, I slept on the flight from Curitiba to Guarulhos, I slept on the flight from Guarulhos to New York, and guess what, I slept on the flight from New York to Tokyo. Was it a relaxing sleep? Of course not, but at least it helped the time pass by a little faster.
When I didn't sleep, I "watched" part of the films that people were watching, just like I did last year. I found it interesting how in one part of the movie Marley & Me the angles of the cameras match almost perfectly with a part of the movie Dune 2. I haven't watched either movie, but it's a scene from Dune 2 where Zendaya's character is on a sand dune with the other main character, comparing it to the movie about the dog where Owen Wilson's character is sitting with the dog looking at the horizon. I have no idea why I wasted my time typing this, anyway, moving on.
Sleeping while traveling has been my favorite pastime lately, when I travel, that is, almost never.
Exploring Minato City
With blue skies and no clouds the weather started today, and it looks like it will end that way too, until night comes. I decided to walk a little towards Tokyo Tower, and a park and temple nearby. The place is very inviting to be photographed, even for non-photographers like me, it is impossible not to see the Tokyo Tower and not feel like taking a photo.
Some random photos from my first day here in the most populous city on the planet, and purposely (or not) photos without (many) people.

Tokyo Tower and train
That's all for today, catch up later on tomorrow or so, with more Japan adventures.
