Phew, this year I painted quite a lot. Way more than 2023. And yet, I feel I didn't paint quite enough.

Started strong, then things get slow due a lot of stuff, and now I'm trying to finish the year with more art input, as in; I'm learning ZBrush, like for real this time.

January

Unlike 2023, this year I didn't participate on HEAVYJAN. I decided to take things a bit more chill, and did some studies from reference (thanks again Jonathan Lane for your awesome shots), testing different Rebelle 7 features.

February

I went to Japan, so I didn't painted as much as I'd like, but I managed to paint (one of) my favourite painting of 2024 on this month. I still don't know how I managed to do that.

March

Back from Japan, things started to get busy, in a good way! Started doing daily painting practice!

As you can notice, I was really trying all sort of different things this month, mostly having fun though. 😃

April

I joined the PleinAirpril and it was quite difficult to me!

May

Juggling the finals of Animation Mentor and having some good time painting.

June

June I was playing around with disrupted realism, I'm still fascinated by this style but more and more I believe this is not for me.

July

July as well, more disrupted realism!

August

Definitely not an easy month in terms of painting, but still some fun times!

Again, nothing was painted this month.

Wrapping up

All in all, it was a good year. Could've gone better? Of course, but it could've also gone way worse, so... that's ok!

For 2025 I have no idea what I'll be doing, but I'm sure as hell I'll be painting, probably some portrait.

Actually, no, I have some ideas on what I'll be doing in 2025, but that's a post for another time.
